- Play on pull-up bars
- Use in-line skates or roller skaters
- Ride A scooters or bicycle
- Jump on trampoline
- Participate in climbing activities ( such as playground equipment)
- Play running and jumping games
- Swing from the trapeze bar
- Jump or climb in and out of inner tubes
- Play in a sandbox with damp, heavy sand
- Color a rainbow with large paper on the floor or with sidewalk chalk outside while on hands and knees
- Put one child in a cardboard box and have another child push him or her
- Put heavy objects in a cardboard box and have the child push it through cones “driving a car”
- Play jumping games, such as hopscotch and jump rope
- Push a child’s cans or plastic bottles filled with sand or water and then put them away on a low shelf. It is especially useful if the child is on hands and knees (a weight –bearing position) to increase Proprioceptive input.
- Participate in activities such a gymnastics, horseback riding, wrestling, karate , and swimming (can also have the child dive after weighted stick thrown in a pool)
- Bounce on a bouncy ball with a handle
- Make a house with small doors out of a cardboard box and have the child squeeze in and out
- Play catch with a heavy ball, or bounce and roll a heavy ball Jump on a pogo stick
